The product families suitable for driving a load proportionally to a 4-20mA signal are the following:
• SSR19 series static relays for phase angle control
• SSR08I series static relays for phase angle control
• SSR39 series three-phase static relays for phase angle control
• Static relays for phase angle control SC1-30D … I series
• SSRSPC1 series Static Groups for analogue power control

In the case of an unbalanced three-phase load, the neutral must be connected, consequently single-phase or three-phase SSR can be used in the appropriate configuration.

4. How can I connect the inputs of an SSR082-50600? (MAILTS-124)

The two inputs of this SSR are independent and both accept a voltage between 4 and 32Vdc.
If an adequate voltage is guaranteed, it is possible to drive them in series, keeping the driving current lower.
However, if we want to guarantee a higher voltage to both inputs, it is preferable to drive them in parallel.

5. How can I connect the alarm output of an SSR082W-25240AS? (MAILTS-123)

Pin 6, used to signal the error condition, is an open collector of a transistor that closes to ground (pin 4).
The input to which it will be connected will consequently require a pull-up.
It accepts a voltage from 5 to 32Vdc up to a maximum current of 100mA.

9. Which temperature controllers can be equipped with MODBUS-RTU and TCP / IP protocols?

On the “Temperature controllers selection chart” it is possible to identify the models that can be ordered with RS-485 (Modbus RTU) or RJ45 (Modbus TCP) respectively.

 

10. Where can I find the ELCO manuals online?

13. How soon will I be contacted if I open a "Technical Support Request"?

Within a maximum of two working days the customer will be contacted by our technical support by email or by phone.
The ticket will be closed after the resolution of the problem has been agreed with customer or after 15 days of customer inactivity.
